Lisa Pete is an up-and-coming photographer in Lehi, Utah. She approached me to create a brand identity for her new business. Her aim was to have a cohesive brand identity across her website and social media that captured the essence of her photography style. Lisa Pete wants her clients to feel comfortable and relaxed so she can capture the real moments and emotions with all of the joy and imperfections that go along with that. Also understanding that her core audience is women and moms, we fully embraced the feminine. The core qualities that Lisa and I were able to pinpoint as her brand essence are Joy, Light, and Nostalgia.

 

The logo and type allude to light, movement, and nostalgia with the logo representing a lens flare. The slightly rough, hand-drawn type is meant to evoke friendliness and casualness with a bit of old-school professionalism thrown in with the use of Cutive Mono in “Photography” .
